Ciao Roma! Get to grips with the Italian traffic on your way to the hotel. After check-in, maybe try your first "gelato" or ice-cream before meeting your Tour Director later this afternoon for a Welcome Drink.

On our guided tour we visit the Vatican Museums and are amazed by Michelangelo's ceiling in the Sistine Chapel, before visiting inside the vast St. Peter's Basilica. Later we overlook the Roman Forum and visit the Colosseum where the gladiators fought to the death! This evening we learn how to make real Italian pizza and get to eat it too! (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

First to Assisi where we enjoy a guided visit of the town dedicated to St. Francis , patron saint of birds and animals. Later we drive on to Florence, the artistic city where the decoration of leather with gold leaf still continues. (Buffet breakfast)

Make sure your camera and phone are charged today as we get to see the incredible leaning Tower of Pisa in the cleverly named Square of the Miracles! Tonight we enjoy a special dinner in a typical Tuscan restaurant - sitting outdoors - with beautiful views across the olive groves and vineyards. We drive through the forested Apennine hills and stop in the home of "spaghetti bolognese" , Bologna. Later, we cross the wide River Po en route to Venice, the magical city originally constructed on wooden piles in the middle of the lagoon. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Our private cruise takes us to St. Mark's Square where we see the Bridge of Sighs, where condemned prisoners caught their last glimpse of the city , the Doge's Palace, St. Mark's Basilica and the Campanile. We watch how glass is blown and then have the chance to learn about the Venetian tradition of Carnival masks and paint and decorate one of our own! Later maybe there is time to take a ride on a gondola, propelled by the skillful gondolier - great way to see all the little canals and really ancient buildings. (Buffet breakfast) | | Day 10 | Venice | Secrect Venice walking tour & visit to the market :
We cruise along the Grand Canal to Rialto Bridge where our tour begins with a visit to the colourful fish market, before exploring many hidden parts of the city. Tonight we enjoy a Farewell Dinner in a local restaurant. (Buffet breakfast / Farewell Dinner) | | Day 11 | Return USA | Venice - USA :
